24 Hours
Arctic Artists was created for a 24 hour game jam. This game is both a co-op and competitive game made for 4 players. In the game you'll play as a paint seal and and try to become the color of the gem in the center. Work with or against the other players in order to be the last seal standing in the game.
As soon as the jam started, my group got together to begin brainstorming. After suggesting and tossing out many ideas, we settled on this one. My role in the project after this was to code some aspects of the game and to make music.

I programmed the seals' ability to knock others back. I also programmed the system for the gem changing colors and eliminating the players when they were the wrong color.

As for music we wanted to have a jazzy sound. It was my first time making music for that genre so I tried some different instruments in Mario Paint Composer and came up with Arctic Jazz. Overall I'm very pleased with the music.
