Hyper Pinball is a pinball game set in the deep depths of space. You can either play the singleplayer mode or the multiplayer mode. The single player mode is your standard pinball game. Hit the ball and different obstacles around the playing field to rack up points. In multiplayer, you and the other player play with up to six balls. Attempt to shift gravity and hit objects with your ball in order to score more points than your opponent.
Hyper Pinball was the first assignment we had this semester. We were just askde to make a 3D pinball game. To make mine stand out, I wanted to have multiple game modes. Unfortunately, we only had Classic Mode and Battle Mode in the end.

Classic mode is exactly what it sounds like. It's a mode that is reminiscent of your classic pinball game. You launch the ball into game and hit it into different obstacles to rack up points.

Battle Mode was a more unique spin on pinball. It's a 2 player game where each player occupies a different side of the board. You gain posession of a ball when you touch it with your paddle and anything it hits afterwards gives you points. Gravity is determined by hitting a silver sphere in the center of the screen.

Overall, battle mode was the real draw to this game. It was one of the better looking solo games I ended up making. It's also my first real solo game in 3D. I had a good time working on this and I'm quite proud of the result.
